Please follow the steps below to book the Taj Mahal or other monument entry tickets:
Step 1: Visit to the official ASI website : https://asi.payumoney.com/
Step 2: Select the Agra city from the given list: As shown in below image.
Step 3: Select the Taj Mahal from the Monument’s List. See the Image below:
Step 4: In the third column, select Taj Mahal Only or Taj Mahal with Mausoleum according to your needs. Next, choose your visiting date from the calendar and the time you want to visit (forenoon or afternoon). After filling out this information, click on the button given on the top right.
Step 5: Now here, you have to fill in your personal details along with the number of people and children. See the image below:

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
- Your ticket is valid for 3 hours.
- For visiting the main mausoleum of the Taj Mahal, one has to buy an additional ticket of Rs. 200 along with the regular ticket.
- Taj Mahal is closed on every Friday
- A Govt approved tourist guide is allowed for the Taj Mahal Sightseeing.
- Up-to 20 adults and 10 children are allowed per booking.
- No entry fee for children below 15 years (both Indian & Foreigner)
- Above 15 years old are chargeable for both Indians and foreigners. (so do carry children’s photo ID to verify their age.)
- The Taj Mahal ticket office opens one hour before sunrise and closes 45 minutes before sunset. Tickets can also be purchased online at https://asi.payumoney.com/#/ and www.tajmahal.gov.in.
- Please be aware that drone cameras are strictly prohibited inside the Taj Mahal.
- A water bottle is allowed inside the monument. Shoe cover, water bottle, and map of Agra.
- Ticket windows and cloak rooms are available at both the gates of the Taj Mahal.
